Butterbees ( 6 weeks -12 months)

The most extraordinary period of growth and development starts from infancy. Without a doubt, infants develop tremendously within the first year. Starting with holding up their head, learning to craw and walk as well as holding up their bottles and playing together, this is an amazing time in a child's life.

In a warm, loving environment, our infants learn how to prepare to be Gigglebugs (toddlers). Our teachers create a lesson plan that implements American Sign Language (ASL) and Spanish. Our teachers work with each infant individually to help develop their physical, emotional, and social skills. In our center we have a ‘no shoe policy’. All of our sheets are washed daily. We maintain a safe, clean and a healthy environment for your baby.

What to expect from your Butterbee classroom:
• Quiet Play: using soft dolls, animals, and balls
• Music and Movement: using miniature instruments, singing and dancing
• Storytelling: using puppets to tell a story
• Creative Arts and exploration: including mirrored wall
• Toys: age-appropriate, squeeze,  pull and push action
• Self-help skills: reaction toys and blocks.
• Baby Signs Program: special baby sign language to better communicate with caregivers
