Greetings! My name is Ms.Pinar Erduran and I am the Center Director at DELA. I have 2 lovely children and I have been married for 6 years. I have a Bachelors in Law. I was a lawyer in Turkey for 6 years before I moved to the United States. I lived in San Diego for 1 year when I had the opportunity to move to Tucson and become a part of our DELA family. I enjoy working for Daisy Education Corporation. I am very proud of our center and the enriched curriculum we offer. I feel our center works magnificently together and has lots of fun attending trainings and conferences to improve our curriculum.

Hello! My name is Ms. Jennifer Zoellner and I am the Assistant Director at DELA. I have worked at DELA over 5 years. I started as a toddler teacher and also worked as a Summer Camp teacher. I am Child Development Certified and plan on continuing my education in Early Childhood. DELA is a huge part of my family life and I take pleasure in working with all the staff. I believe that DELA offers quality education and teaches children to be successful in school. I feel we are a fantastic family. I have been married for 8 years and have a beautiful daughter who is attending Sonoran Science Academy. 

My name is Ms. Maureen Folk and my childcare experience is a total of 27 years. I have been with DELA since it was being prepared to first open in 2003. I love teaching the Pathfinders’ age group which prepares them for kindergarten. Teaching an excelling program has proven to give the children an advantage to learning to be successful in elementary school.

My name is Ms. Delia Vasquez. I am the lead teacher for the Explorers classroom. I have many years of experience in the field of education and have been with DELA for over the pass 3 years. I have taught many ages and love and enjoy the bond I have with children. I just turned 50 years of age and have been married for 29 years. I have 2 wonderful children of my own ages 21 and 19. I can honestly say life have been very good to me.

I am Ms. Claudine Brown, the Tumbleweeds lead teacher. I have a Bachelors in Business and was in that field for over 20 years when I decided I wanted to work with children. I was a substitute for a year for Amphitheater School District. I have training in Child Development. Now I am a part of the DELA family and have been here for over 1 year. 

My name is Ms. Aki Naghibi and I am the lead teacher for the Gigglebugs classroom ages 12 to 24 months. I have been working at DELA for 3 ½ years. After High School, I started working in childcare in my country Iran. After 33 years, I am still working in childcare. I have many years of experience and many hours of training in the United States. I can speak English, Farsi, and German fluently. Soon I will begin to learn French. I am married for 30 years and have 2 children ages 28 and 26. Working in childcare for me is not just a job. I love children and teaching them everyday even just a new word is super rewarding. I love being silly and dancing with the children in my classroom. I love keeping a smile on my face.

Hello! My name is Ms. Gina Villarreal. I am 23 years old and I am the lead teacher in the Wonderers classroom. I have worked with children in various programs for the past 6 years, including tutoring, 14DCO, The Sandbox, and now DELA. My son, Diego, is a year old and he gets to come to DELA with Mommy. I feel working with children is extremely rewarding. 

After a year in Los Angeles, California, I moved to Tucson 3 years ago. I have been working at DELA since I moved to Tucson. I have a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration. I love children so much; that’s why I didn’t want to be a business manager and decided to work for DELA.  I’ve worked in all the classrooms and love working with different ages. This past year I became the Turkish as a Second Language teacher for ages 2-5. In addition to math activities, science experiments, and art projects; the children learn songs and vocabulary in Turkish. I also have a Cooking Club every Thursday. They love cooking and look forward to new recipes every week. Yay! I also don’t forget about the parents. Once a month we have a free cooking class for all the adults. You are welcome to join us. Cooking Club for parents is always posted in the newsletter and flyers.

My name is Ms. Casey Tary and I have been working at DELA for almost 3 years. I work in the Gigglebugs classroom as a teacher’s assistant. I absolutely love working with the children, parents, and the wonderful staff at DELA. I am a graduate of CDO.
